Fake Believe is included in the 2019 West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival.

Established in 2010 by the Electronic Media Area of the West Virginia University School of Art and Design, the West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival celebrates exceptional, compelling, and innovative works in film, experimental video and animation. Its primary mission is to help foster creative approaches to these genres and to expose West Virginia University students and the surrounding Morgantown community to the world of independent filmmaking and video art. The festival also strives to focus attention on topical issues in contemporary culture and to draw attention to the rich and unique heritage of West Virginia and the surrounding Appalachian region. The WVMSFF is hosted by the West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival Student Organization of the WVU School of Art and Design.

The 2019 West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival takes place on April 26 & 27 in the WVU Mountianlair building, located on the downtown campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Screenings will be shown in the Gluck Theatre, located on the first floor of the building. Additionally, there will be video projections running on a continuous loop in the Shenandoah room, adjacent to the theater, and in the Blackwater room, on the 2nd floor.
